Build contrast into the first flight
A useful first selection is not three cigars that look similar. Compare a documented Connecticut, Habano, and Maduro or Broadleaf direction so you can identify whether you lean creamy, spicy, coffee-rich, earthy, or naturally sweet. Read the product details first; wrapper color alone is not enough context.

Change one variable at a time
When possible, keep your session conditions consistent and pay attention to wrapper, profile, format, and strength. If you change everything at once, it becomes difficult to identify why one cigar fit your palate better than another. A small note after each smoke is more useful than trying to remember every detail later.

Your first flight is a starting point.
