01
Length sets the rhythm
A shorter cigar is often easier to fit into a focused session. Longer formats can give a blend more time to shift and settle, but they ask for more of your attention. The useful question is not which length is best; it is whether you can enjoy the cigar without rushing the experience.
02
Ring gauge changes the feel, not just the look
Ring gauge is the cigar's diameter measured in sixty-fourths of an inch. A wider ring gauge can change the smoke volume, draw, and the balance between wrapper and filler. It does not automatically mean stronger, smoother, or better. Use it with the wrapper and blend information, not as a shortcut.
03
Use the vitola table before you buy
Each JSK blend page lists documented formats, length, and ring gauge where available. Compare those details alongside the profile. If you are deciding between a compact robusto and a longer toro, choose the format that matches your schedule first, then let the blend profile break the tie.
